50 Miles More Pennsylvania Update

Young people around the country are busy planning their own 50 Miles More marches. Pennsylvania was the first state to accept the #50more in #50states challenge, and the Penridge 225 students have been working around the clock to pull their march together. While young people around the state are energized and feeling empowered to draw attention to the need for gun reform, our initial dates conflict with Advanced Placement testing. The organizers in Pennsylvania have decided to reschedule the march to ensure all interested students can participate and will announce a new date soon.

50 Miles More Pennsylvania will begin in Green Lane and march to Senator Pat Toomey’s office in Philadelphia. The organizers are continuing to work with police departments and local leaders to ensure a successful and impactful march.
