Continuing the 50 Miles More #50more in #50states challenge, the young people of Massachusetts are standing against gun violence with a four-day, 50 mile march from the city hall of Worcester, MA to Smith & Wesson headquarters in Springfield, MA. With this march we urge Smith & Wesson to become a part of the solution to a problem they remain complicit in. In a joint effort from Stop Handgun Violence, March For Our Lives Boston, and a number of other organizations, we respond to 50 Miles More’s call to action. We are sick of manufacturers falling to greed, and prioritizing money over the safety of our communities. As angry and determined students we will not remain silent. We march.

#50MORE in #50STATES
Standing in solidarity with the Parkland students and young people across the United States, we will keep the national spotlight on gun reform through our continued engagement with youth in all communities as they take on their elected officials — so that no child will live in fear of gun violence.
And this is just the beginning.
Kids may only be 25% of the nation’s population, but we are 100% of the future.
